What we use
RacingAPI.net uses cookies and similar browser storage needed for sign-in, account security and basic site preferences. Cookies may be set by our authentication provider when you sign in. Optional affiliate referral tracking is separate and is only enabled when you explicitly accept it.
Optional affiliate referrals
If you follow an affiliate link, we ask before setting ra_referral. This optional, secure, HTTP-only cookie lasts up to 30 days and is shared only across RacingAPI.net and its affiliate subdomain. The first accepted referral is retained for that window. It lets us credit a publisher when a genuinely new customer joins and later pays for a subscription; your price is unchanged.
Choosing No thanks does not set the referral cookie and does not restrict access to our site. Use the Remove optional referral cookie control on this page to withdraw consent. This does not remove an attribution already attached to an account or financial records required to administer commissions.
Sign-in and security
Authentication cookies and browser storage help recognise your session and protect access to your dashboard. Their names and lifetimes can change when the identity service is updated. Blocking them may prevent you from signing in or staying signed in.
AI product assistant
The AI assistant does not add chat cookies or save its conversation in local storage. Messages remain in page memory and are sent to our server only when you ask a question. Reloading the page or choosing a new chat clears this local conversation. See our Privacy Policy for AI processing information.
Your preferences
When you dismiss the cookie notice, this site saves your choice in your browser's local storage under ra_cookie_ack. This is local storage, not a cookie, and is used only so the notice does not keep reappearing. If the dashboard uses a collapsible sidebar, a sidebar_state preference cookie can remember whether it is open.
Payment pages and control
Our embedded Stripe payment and subscription controls may use payment-provider cookies for payment security and fraud prevention. You remain on RacingAPI.net while using them. You can remove cookies and site data through your browser settings; this may sign you out and cause the notice to appear again.
